For many students, it is difficult to understand texts and concepts due to a lack of reading ability and/or a lack of interest. In this session, attendees will learn about an approach to help students improve content comprehension and interest using graphic novels, and will walk away with a list of graphic novels to use in the classroom that appeal to everyone, especially non-readers, along with tips on how to implement graphic novels into the curriculum.
