Marine biologists know that sharks depend on the symbiotic relationships they form with remora and pilot fish. Librarians also want to create these kinds of mutually beneficial relationships with their administrators. Librarian and administrator partnerships can bring huge wins for campuses, but sometimes it feels like we're speaking different languages. In this session, participants will learn to reframe their approach using different language and situational lenses. Participants will have the opportunity to present ideas, proposals, and/or concerns to a panel of "Sharks"-- campus-level and district-level administrators-- to get feedback on their approaches. Come swim with the Sharks and leave with concrete strategies to strengthen librarian-administrator symbiosis in your own tank.
