The Tomás Rivera Mexican American Children's Book Award annually recognizes outstanding children's and YA literature that reflects the Mexican American experience. This presentation will celebrate the legacy of the award with new strategies and approaches for using these books with children and teens in your libraries. Attendees will leave with ready-to-use ideas.
