Bridge your students' library research or book choices by offering short but powerful stories that wet their curious appetites. Whether it be Veteran's Day, food cycles, past to future innovations, extreme weather conditions, historical landmarks, countries around the world, or super heroes that all students should by inspired by, use storytelling as your buy-in tool. Through bare-bones personal tales, folk tales, and nonfictional tales, you'll walk away with the power of storytelling and motivated students who will want to share their discovered connections. Participants will be given time to create a call and response tale along with uncovering their own personal story to connect subject matter. Springboard activities will be shared at the close of this session.
